Green Guru Gear and Bike Fixtation

Flat tires aside, the rubber inner tubing used for bicycle wheels live a length life even in the recycling process. While this future may not bode well for the environment, the material can also be “upcycled”, and Green Guru Gear, based in Boulder, Colorado, has already made a name in the business of crafting durable and eco-friendly bags, accessories, and bike gear from discarded inner tubing. Green Guru and Bike Fixtation have partnered in launching a simple and cost-effective service for the process by which the public can drop off used tubing in a safe collection box. Keep an eye out for the bright, chartreuse Green Guru logo that marks these collection stations!
