Argentinian designer German Gonzalez Garrido rejects subtlety with this minimal yet brutalist piece: “Concrete Ball” is exactly what it sounds like. The spherical concrete form is cast around a COB (chip-on-board) LED for simplicity in technical and aesthetic design. Created as either a floor lamp or hanging light complete with a bold red cord, the piece elegantly combines raw materials and modern technology for a no-frills, no-nonsense minimal aesthetic.
