Based in Switzerland and Poland, Zieta is the studio behind the Plopp Inflated Metal Stool and +3 Furniture. One of their latest designs is this steel and wood table combining a Holzano tabletop with NOGI legs. The tabletop is handmade from Ancient Kauri, the oldest wood there is, while the legs are manufactured using FiDU, computer-controlled flexible steel forming. Blending traditional craftsmanship and innovative technology, the resulting table strikes a balance between old and new, all in the name of celebrating two of the premier materials in product design. An open design that invites creative people to put it to use in new and challenging ways, the table can be customized for dimensions and moved into virtually any space for most any purpose. Zieta will present this exciting new design at Milan Design Week.
