Whether you’re on business or traveling on your own itinerary, Hotel SP4 is a convenient choice found just minutes from Copenhagen’s City Hall Square. Located downtown in Copenhagen’s historic Latin Quarter, the hotel is surrounded by a world of eateries, universities, urban gardens, and stores such as Sögreni, a renowned bike shop on Sankt Peders Stræde. You couldn’t be closer to the pulse of Denmark’s capital.

Previously known as Hotel Fox, SP4 is one of three unique Brøchner Hotels in downtown Copenhagen and the only 4+ star option. Its fine accommodations include four tiers of rooms, plus suites and a penthouse. Offering a full list of amenities, the boutique lodging provides modern-day essentials like free WiFi and old-school staples such as valet parking. But it is the design and dining options that go beyond the pale.

The interiors are furnished with Scandinavian flair and rich materials such as brass, concrete, and leather. Showing a Danish command of neutral colors, the interiors make use of brown and gray. Softened by plush linens and warmed up by atmospheric lighting, the rooms are a much-needed retreat from the city center.

When it’s time to head out again, guests need not venture far. Hotel SP4 boasts an array of dining options including a breakfast buffet, a café, a bar, and two restaurants. Breakfast is organic and freshly baked each morning. For a mid-take pick-me-up and evening entertainment, stop by Din Nye Ven, a coffee and culture bar with after-hours beer and events. If you’re more of a wine person, head to the bar at five o’clock for Wine Hour to drink a glass or two of sustainable, quality vino on the house. After meeting the neighbors over apéritif, check out Bar Moritz for authentic Spanish tapas or Cock’s & Cows for Scandinavian cocktails and a beef dinner. Bar Moritz has a chic cellar feel to match its imported ingredients and beer, while its burger joint counterpart rocks a casual diner atmosphere with a bottle of Heinz ketchup on every table. You can’t go wrong.
