In Reverse by Ron Arad

Sometimes it’s the undoing of things that’s moving. Take the female for example. Hair pulled up all pretty, shirt tucked, pumps on…then slowly makes her move. Cause when her locks are let down, the bra strap unclipped, and nothing is left to the imagination, well you see my point. Consider the promising future of knocking something down, starting over, ejecting blank from your life, getting out of that tie requirement job and into the undone, more well-done version of you.
In the same spirit of this concept, architect, artist, designer Ron Arad of Israel has re imagined objects through his exhibit In Reverse. In his own words, “In Reverse is an exhibition about the shift from the physical to the digital – except in reverse. Rather than manipulating materials to render them functional or render digital models towards a functional object here I ‘reverse’ perfectly functional objects and render them useless.” The star of the program is the Fiat 500 in a flatter than usual state and also the alternative polished wood version or rather the stainless steel rod interpretation. So in your opinion, do you foresee these being weaker than their original state. Whether squished or replaced, however trash yet treasure, either dreamy or dream on, we are given the power to express such opinions.
