Interlocking Macadamia Wood Chair by Collaptes

The Macadamia Chair is an open source piece of furniture by the Mexican designer Cyntia Briano Alamillo of Collaptes. Made of six pieces of wood, the interlocking form emphasizes connectedness. The pieces join with one another, and, together, they foster a relationship with the user, offering a compact and sturdy seat. Socially connected as well, the naturally finished chair is a sustainable addition to one’s home, restaurant, or office.
