Spacelife is a new luxury brand specializing in menswear that is designed on earth but “made for space.” The idea may sound far out, but it is sure to attract those who are excited by the prospect of tourism on Mars and the moon. Spacelife’s first venture is an astronaut-inspired jacket with an outer made of trilobal nylon fiber, an interior layer of neoprene, and a breathable liner. While not approved for actual space travel, the bold design is ready to brave cold conditions here on earth. (Skiing gear, anyone?) The performance outerwear is enriched with reflective trimming and Bluetooth speakers which are built into the hood and controlled by buttons sewn onto the sleeves. Available for pre-order, the jacket is priced at €1499, will be produced in a limited-edition run of 100 pieces, and ships September 1st 2015.
