IWC pays homage to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s universally loved book with a gorgeous limited-edition version of the Big Pilot Annual Calendar. “Le Petit Prince” features IWC’s signature midnight blue dial, but unlike other timepieces designed by the brand, it also has a blue movement. On the face, three windows display the month, date and day of the week, with a power reserve indicator also included. On the back, under a transparent sapphire glass cover, the watch boasts a stunning design made of white gold, showing the beloved character standing on a small planet which forms the rotor and moves around its axis.
The 46mm, 18-carat white gold case houses an IWC-manufactured 52850 caliber mechanical movement with two barrels which provide enough power to keep the watch running for seven days. Limited to just 250 pieces, Le Petit Prince comes with a brown calfskin strap made by Santoni. A rose gold version is also available on the official website. Photo credits: IWC.
