JBL Authentic Sound

HARMAN’s JBL Authentics L16 and L8 speaker systems house studio-quality sound and wireless connectivity in two classic designs. Both speakers support up to a 96 kHz sample rate, with 24 bits per sample. Even when playing low-quality files, the speakers use Signal Doctor By Harman to analyze the music as it plays and restore waveform deficiencies to a fuller, more true-to-recording sound. Additionally, both of the new Authentics can be controlled from any wireless device via AirPlay, DLNA and Bluetooth, and the JBL Music™ app is free for iOS and Android users alike. The JBL Authentics L16 may also be manipulated by analog, optical, and on board moving coil and moving magnet phono preamps, while the JBL Authentics L8 includes just wireless and optical controls. The L16 is the larger model, and it boasts six 50W amplifiers and three-way sound. In appearance, the L16 is the more nostalgic choice, with a walnut-veneered enclosure and a retro grill. The smaller L8 embraces a sleeker look; its wooden enclosure is stained black with piano-quality finish. Versatile acoustic designs for home or studio, the new Authentics simplify playback while honoring timeless sound.
