The Junto Terracotta Water Carafe

Inspired by the traditional Spanish botijo, the Junto terracotta water carafe reimagines the rustic design as a contemporary and refined item that still maintains the original’s warm, earthy character. Created by Danish designer Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen, the carafe has a minimalist aesthetic that establishes a link between Scandinavia and Spain. The carafe features the botijo’s classic two spouts, one for filling the interior and the other meant for pouring.

Sleek and elegant, Junto features a play on textures thanks to the glazed and matte finishes, as well as the combination between the grooved and smooth surfaces. The carafe also comes with matching cups that further accentuate the rustic-modern dynamic. Together, they bring the warmth of rural living along with a touch of Scandinavian design to the kitchen table. You can now find the Junto terracotta water carafe in our shop, along with the cups from the same collection.
