LEGO Sydney Opera House

View all 6 Photos

The Sydney Opera House finally gets to sing on its own stage, as it becomes the newest addition to the LEGO Architecture Series. LEGO enthusiasts are well familiar with the bricks that assemble to a model of a great architectural work, but for all audiences, the numbers are astounding. 2989 pieces are included in the kit, and “expert” hardly begins to describe the level of precision and detail to building the model, let alone the work of those who abstracted the music hall to its playtime form. Though the iconic, curved roofs in the model may not read as majestic as the real thing, the LEGO model as a whole is quite impressive. Available for sale directly through LEGO® beginning September 2013
