In Birmingham, Alabama the 18th Street underpass has been officially pizazzed by a progression of neon lights. Artist Bill FitzGibbons calls it Light Rails putting on quite a show greeting the city with a kick ass bolt of electricity. Using 250 LED lights blinking in flashy patterns the tunnels brighten up stretching from across pedestrian paths through arched roadways. A supersonic installation that’ll make you say, “cooool.”
