Littlebox by Skram

Littlebox is a new storage piece design by Skram Furniture Company, the brand behind its softer cousin, the Corkbox. A multi-purpose wooden box with a metal handle, the design is both portable and handsome enough to be on display. Made from cold-formed steel and offcuts of the studio’s tables and casegoods, the box is sturdy and sustainable. The design is sealed with commercial-grade, low-sheen white urethane finish on the bottom and matte white on the handle. More natural and minimalist than not, the design showcases the dramatic wood grain with no more ornamentation than the studio’s name branded on one side. Currently on view at the International Furniture Company Fair in New York, the Littlebox is being sold at a show price of $257, later to rise to a list price of $395.
