Launched in 1957, the Flagship watch perfectly captured the elegance of the 50s and 60s. To celebrate the timepiece’s 60th anniversary, Longines announced a limited edition, the Flagship Heritage. Beautiful and refined, the watch provides a modern take on the timeless design while paying homage to the original. It comes with a brushed silver dial, yellow or pink Dauphine hands as well as a second dial. The minute and hour hands feature a Super-Luminova coating, for perfect visibility in low light conditions. The 38mm case houses an automatic L609 movement with a 42-hour power reserve.
On the front, the sapphire crystal cover protects the watch from scratches and features a multi-layered anti-reflective coating, while on the back the case boasts a stamped caravel ship. Longines will release three versions: steel, gold and rose gold. All of them come with a brown alligator strap. But if you want to get your hands on one, keep in mind that the design is limited-edition and only 60 will be made in gold and rose, with 1,957 versions for the steel model. Photo credits: Longines.
