Up to the ceiling or spreading throughout the room, this magnum lamp will shine its light into any direction you desire. Patrycja Domanska and Felix Gieselmann have designed the magnum lamp in matte black, with a minimalistic approach for multifunctional applications. The lamp structure consist of two parts: a coated aluminum rod and a luminous body in the form of a disc. With the addition of a magnetic plug that connects the two parts of the lamp, the structure can be manipulated to multi-configurations including the option to manually adjust the lamp by its handle for better interaction between the light and its surrounding. The Magnum is conceived as a satellite – independently circling to constantly accompany its owner as a fixed point and yet to remain an independent object.
