This independent bookstore is located in the historic Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. More than just a place from where you can buy rare titles, The Booksmith is a cultural institution. Interesting talks, events, and author readings and book signings are the norm here, meaning that you’ll always have the opportunity to see something new. Oh, and don’t forget to read the staff’s book reviews and recommendations added as Post-Its on the shelves!
