MCE Lamps by Note Design

View all 8 Photos

Note Design Studio created this trio of MCE Lamps as a unique set for the Glass Elephant exhibition, and the designs have since shown in Stockholm and Milan. Each of the lamps features a wooden frame which draws inspiration from the geometric sketches of graphic artist M.C. Escher. Steady and angular, the frame balances the spherical glass lampshade physically and visually. Likewise, the colorful, ombre glass serves as a bright and shining counterpart to the naturally finished wood.
