The French brand Douze-Cycles makes modular cargo bikes with distinct frames. Designed for “fast release innovation,” the front frame can be detached from the rear, allowing for the length to be changed to meet the rider’s needs. The Messenger V2 model comes with compact, long, and (coming soon) extra-long front frames. The segmented frame can bear more weight than a standard bicycle and comes with a unique steering cable allows for deep turns. Available in in black, white, red, and blue, the Messenger V2 can be bought online (price by request) and from select dealers.
