Crafted by Workerman’s Adam Brackney, the KUT friction holding knife combines steel and hardwood in a classic yet radically simple design. The knife’s handle is fashioned from walnut, olive wood, or your choice of hard or ambrosia maple. The wood may be left bare or dipped in lacquer. More to the point, so to speak, each knife features a Svörd blade of hand-forged carbon steel. Those new to Svörd should note that their blades discolor over time and that aging is beneficial, as the carbon patina prevents rusts and gives the knife character.

One of the most beautiful things about these knives is not their form or function, but their character, the space they carve in the minds of those who hold them. Workerman is currently sold out of these knives. However, those interested may email Adam to receive an alert when the next generation is made.
