Lighting Design With A Sunny Twist – Sun Lights By Fabian Zeijler Studio

Inspired by the sun, these lamps made by the Eindhoven-based Fabian Zeijler studio provide a creative take on lighting design. Sun Lights reference sun gazing, offering an easy way to brighten a room – in more ways than one. The design elegantly explores the displacement of light. Circular and minimal, the table and wall lamps boast a subtle gradient on their acrylate surface, a material that also absorbs light. Combined with the dimmable LED lights, the lamps emit a soft, warm glow that recreates the warmth and colors of sunrise and sunset inside modern living spaces. The surface also reflects the surroundings, giving the designs more depth and texture. Perfect as mood lighting, Sun Lights come in orange, white opaque, and light purple, with other color options also provided. You can find the lamps on the studio’s website; prices range from around $800 to $950. Photographs© Fabian Zeijler.
