Modular Light Family – The ANDlight 2017 Collection

Vancouver-based studio ANDlight recently exhibited its 2017 collection during the London Design Festival, making its debut in the UK. Featuring an array of pendants as well as floor, wall, and table lamps, the modular light family collection displays modern design at its finest. The centerpiece of the range, the Pipeline series has an ingenious modular design which allows the user to customize the lights for various settings. Used on their own or in a set of two or three, the Pipeline lights provides a contemporary and minimal take on the classic chandelier. The 1mm thin aircraft cable also adds a creative touch to the lighting design as it allows the pendants to seemingly float in space.

Designed with four main shapes and up to 16 silhouettes, the Spotlight Volumes series brings even more versatility to the collection. An electrical cord accentuates the connection between the two joint halves, while a thin cable makes even the largest pendants seem weightless. Other designs from this modular light family range include the Slab series with Merino wool details and the creative Button lamp. Photographs© ANDlight.
