Found in Italy, 2531 meters above sea level, on the Foronon del Buinz Mountain, along the Ceria-Merlone trail of the Julian Alps, this nine-bed cabin was made for mountaineers and hikers. The Giovanni Pesamosca Architetto construction was commissioned by the family of Luca Vuerich, who died in an avalanche in 2010. Created in a chapel-like pyramid of wood and sheet metal, the cabin is designed to withstand the weight of snow and offer adventurers refuge from the elements.
