From natural cork to striking wall blocks and tiles, the Muratto x Momentum collection stuns with sculptural designs that are also eco-conscious.

One of the most eco-friendly materials in the world, cork stands out among other natural resources thanks to its distinctive harvesting method that doesn’t harm the trees. Over the past few years, this renewable material has been used in ingenious ways, from furniture design to architectural projects. Still, the Muratto x Momentum collection presents cork in a completely new light. Designed in a collaboration between US-based company Momentum Textiles & Wallcovering and Portuguese brand Muratto, the range reinvents the humble natural material as a striking design element that brings contemporary interiors to life.

The collection comprises two product lines, Organic Blocks and PrimeCork. While the former stuns with geometric patterns and sculptural shapes inspired by nature, the latter enhances spaces with gorgeous textures. Both ranges offer the best cork has to offer: acoustic insulation, exceptional tactility, and durability, all in an entirely biodegradable and recyclable package.

Bolder thanks to its array of shapes and modules, the Organic Blocks series comprises nine different Design Blocks designs that range from clean and geometric to beehive-inspired. The nature of the blocks allows the creation of endless combinations of wall sculptures, just like the Cork Strips range that features eight variations of linear cork profiles. Accessories like cork with natural moss pieces or modular lighting enhance the designs further.

More than simply a green and more practical alternative to paint or wallpaper, the PrimeCork tiles add eye-catching textures to interiors. Finishes include matte, velvety and metallic, all adding elegant accents to the walls of residential or commercial spaces. Likewise, colors like leather, rich terracotta, light champagne, or dark gray provide a convenient way to bring a room’s look together with warm, bold, or neutral hues.

Suitable for a variety of interiors, including homes, offices, hotels, or healthcare settings, the Muratto x Momentum collection offers a balanced blend of durability, sustainability and contemporary design. The production process also impresses with a zero-waste approach to manufacturing, making these gorgeous wall coverings and tiles a natural choice for eco-conscious interior design projects.
