NakNak’s Wire House Numbers

This year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair saw an incredible range of new work. Among the many functional home goods that Taiwan’s NakNak brought to the table, the imaginative Wire Number series stands out perhaps the most. Designed by Kyuhuung Cho & Erik Oloysson in collaboration with NakNak’s 30-year-old metal workshop, each unique and curious form is bent by hand. The inspiration of twisting neon lights is evident in the curvilinear nature of each number, yet at the same time the numbers maintain a delicate quality that makes them all the more appealing.
