Brew and serve espresso fit for a sleuth with the Noir coffee maker and espresso cups by Paolo Metaldi, the Italian designer behind the SHY Ergonomic Herb Knife. Dressed to kill, the Noir coffee maker is made of aluminum with a matte black finish. The hardboiled design has a soft, if twisted side, too, a heat-resistant nylon handle in the shape of a vintage pistol. In a similar vein, the accompanying espresso cups are metallic and shaped like bullets. On the bottom, each porcelain shot is engraved with “50mm coffee cup.” Both designs are available online from Viceversa, as a set for €82 or as a separate 4-cup coffee maker and flight of 6 cups for €44 and €38, respectively.
