The Nomos Club Automatic Limited Edition Watches

A sporty watch that celebrates 175 years of watchmaking in Glashütte.

In 2020, German watch brand Nomos launched a limited-edition series of timepieces to celebrate 175 of watchmaking in Glashütte. The three models each have different styles, but all of them share the same Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic. The Nomos Club Automatic limited-edition watches follow the Ludwig and Lambda designs from the same anniversary collection. A sportier version of the 2007 Club Automatic, this exclusive watch features outdoor-inspired colors as well as textile or metal straps. The clean dial optimizes legibility with a thick typography, luminous accents, and muted hues.

Customers can choose between Navy, Olive, and Onyx versions, all of them designed with 40mm stainless steel cases. While the blue and green options come with textile straps, the black model features a steel sports bracelet. Similarly to other Nomos timepieces, the limited-edition Club Automatic watches come with a custom movement. Made in-house, the DUW 5001 automatic movement features an innovative, proprietary escapement that rivals Swiss designs in quality but has a competitive price. Other features of the series include water resistance up to 200 meters and a power reserve of 43 hours. Each color comes in a series of only 175 pieces. Launched in February 2021, the Nomos Club Automatic watches have a price of $2,620 for the Navy and Olive versions and $2,920 for the Onyx watch with a steel bracelet. Photographs© Nomos Glashütte.
