Handmade in Alicante, Spain Oli13’s new E.E.1929 brogues honor the designer’s grandfather Enrique, a Spanish farmer. The letters “E.E.” are Enrique’s initials, and 1929 is the year he was sixteen, riding his bicycle and enjoying life. Inspired by his memory, the E.E.1929 gives the classic brogue a playful twist, with perforations in the shape of a fig tree leaf and color-blocking for spring and summer. The shoes come in eight stylish color combinations, pairing a beige, gray, or navy upper with a red, orange, yellow, or blue outsole. Made of canvas, suede, and vulcanized rubber, the designs are casual or casual-dressy with the right outfit. Pair them with jeans, slacks, or shorts—the shoes’ pop of color will brighten almost any ensemble. Ready for the beer garden, the barbeque, and, of course, a bike ride into the distance, this breezy fashion begs for warm-weather fun and adventure. Each pair of shoes bears Oli13’s signature stamp on the heel and comes in a vintage-looking box that pays homage to the designer’s youthful grandfather. The unisex designs are available from the Oli13 Shop, with prices starting at 59€.
