Oops! Interactive Pendant Lamps

Some lamps are simply beautiful, while others also bring a smile on people’s faces. Just like their name suggests, the Oops! Lamps belong to the latter category; they combine playfulness with elegance to offer a different kind of lighting for modern interiors. Designed by Berlin-based Yuue Design studio, the two pendants explore the interactive experience between user and object. To use the lamps, the user pulls the cord which makes the bulb or tube drop down from the shade. It’s a creative and fun take on the potentially embarrassing scenario of breaking something while visiting a friend’s house. There are two versions available; one is cone-shaped and the other is a long tube, but both of them have an universal appeal thanks to the minimalist design that is meant to complement any décor. Made by Mamamoon from aluminum, sheet metal and plastic, the Oops! Interactive Pendant Lamps also come with LED lights that illuminate with a warm white glow. Regardless of their primary function of brightening living spaces, these lamps certainly stand out through their secondary purpose, of brightening moods. Photo credits: Yuue Design.
