Optical Illusions in The Streets of Sao Paulo

Optical illusions in the streets of Sao Paulo. The graffiti group Boamistura brought back to life many streets of San Paulo’s favelas involving many street kids. These paintings create an incredible optical illusion when viewed from certain angles the words Orgulho, Firmeza, Beleza, Amor can be read clearly as if they were on a flat surface.

‘Participative Urban Art project in Vila Brâsilandia, one of the favelas in São Paulo. The intervention focuses on ‘vecos’ and ‘vielas’: winding streets that are the true articulators of the internal life of the community. Sharing with the inhabitants the transformation of their environment.’
