Ordinary Behavior by Kevin LCK

Illustrator and product designer Kevin LCK is asking you to take your eyes away from your monitor and rethink your relationship with technology. With Ordinary Behavior, we face an intriguing juxtaposition of common reliance upon technology and our own selves. The five objects in the collection are deceiving; the white paper cardboard construct and illustrated details reposition the 3-inch floppy, the keyboard (with hands drawn across QWERTY), and the television as objects stripped of their electricity-driven selves. The three-dimensional sculptures bear black outlines that almost render them as the typical, detailed illustrations characteristic of Kevin LCK’s work. And though obviously not functional, these electronic devices and appliances are indeed recyclable.
