At the mention of papercraft, one might think of paper-cutting or origami, but neither of these more delicate routes is at the construct of Jeroen Wand’s Paper-made collection. The combined stool-light-dresser, and cabinet iterations feature a lengthy process of laminating many layers of paper, the fibers eventually fusing to form a sturdy drawer for the wooden frames in which they sit. Dutch designer, amidst his search for pairings of materiality and unconventional fabrication techniques, also found an outlet of synergies in the functionality. Naturally, under this lens, the stool-light-dresser speaks for itself.
