Rosendahl PICTO Timepieces

Designed by Steen Georg Christensen and Erling Andersen for Rosendahl Timepieces, the PICTO gives wearers a “picture of time.” While the watch has a minute hand, there is no hour hand. Instead, a dot on the watch’s rotating dial indicates the hour, creating a simple yet different way of visualizing time. A minimalist watch, the PICTO comes in monochrome red, black, or white, with an unmarked silicone strap. The red version shown here adds a bold pop of color to the wrist while keeping with graphic simplicity.

Like the watch versions, the PICTO wall clock features the same rotating dial in place of an hour hand. The wall clock echoes the playful look of the watches, while blowing up the scale, foregoing the top glass, and toning down the color. Even more minimal than the watches, the wall clock is a classic circle and is available in white with black markers, black with white markers, light gray with orange markers, and dark gray with yellow markers.
