Pigeon Umbrella, by London Undercover X Staple

We often think at the umbrella as that lame thing we have to use in those unpleasant gray and rainy days. But with Staple Design‘s street minded sophistication and London Underground‘s impressive craftsmanship combined, they have revamped this last minute, boring rain shield into something cool and stylish.  The Pigeon is a traditional wood-handled umbrella, but is both witty and imaginative with Jeff Staple’s signature bird printed all over the canopy as well as its pigeon dropping on the navy-colored top.

‘A few years ago in Paris, I had the pleasure of linking with Jamie Milestone and was introduced to his company, London Undercover. Established in 2008, his aim was to turn around the umbrella and return it to its rightful position as a proper fashion accessory. With the celebration of Britishness at the core, London Undercover brings to life what is generally perceived as a boring, disposable, last-minute item. An obvious canvas for expression, the designs encourage people to enjoy and take pride in what is, an indispensable, quintessentially British accessory.’ – Jeff Staple
