Private House in Viseu by Bau Uau Arquitectura

The most stunning aspect of Private House in Viseu is its visual effect; the use of verticals and the interplay of stark white and natural wood are scattered throughout the space as unifying elements. Designed by Bau Uau Arquitectura, the Portuguese home features wooden railings along the stairs and the second floor, and a curiously curved structure on its first floor. The enclosed bathroom displays the same vertical gradient and serves as a centerpiece around which the rest of the rooms revolve. Even small details, such as the painted door faces with its edges left as natural wood, contribute to the house’s overall linear theme.
