Private Moon by Leonid Tishkov

Artist Leonid Tishkov, who is also a Moscow physician, created the project  Private Moon. Through a series of photographs from around the world, he features himself with a large glowing crescent as a visual poem about man who met the Moon and stayed with her for the rest of his life. In Russia the significance of the space efforts reflected communistic ideals. Here we have a mindful artist communicating that the moon in a sense can be a private utopia to anyone. Be swept away by the beauty and stillness, the loyalty and dedication, the tale and the treasure.
