Instead of offering an unwieldy collection of coasters and trivets to accommodate the different sizes of kitchenware, Dewa Bleisinger presents QUAD Trivet, a one-size-fits-all solution. The product designer from Berlin imbues modularity into the expandable trivet, which is composed of a ring of sixteen wooden blocks. The blocks, when compacted into a 4×4 square, is perfect for a small coffeepot, but can be rearranged freely for larger platters and trays. The configurations can also be purely aesthetic, and are available in an oiled walnut wood or maple wood.
