Milan- based collective Carnovsky presented the “RGB” exhibition for the first time during Milan Design Week at J&V showroom, and is now currently at Jaguarshoes in London. RGB is a work about the exploration of the “surface’s deepness”, it is a series of wall papers that mutate and interact with different chromatic stimulus. The wall coverings consists of three overlapping layers of patterns each in primary colors red yellow and blue, the result is disoriented images that are difficult to observe. When all these colors are mashed up the lines and shapes becomes extremely unclear. Visitors are to look through different colored filters which is made of a light or transparent material that makes it possible to clearly see each of the layers that makes up the wall paper. The filters come in red, green and blue each will reveal a corresponding layer while the other two remain hidden.
