Ring Stool by Nao Tamura

View all 4 Photos

Ring Stool by Nao Tamura covers the classic ‘stool 60’ with a tree life line graphic. Eighty years are being celebrated both for a particular tree’s trunk and more importantly, for this successful furniture piece. The plain three legged black stool is topped with a tree trunk image printed in white lines.  The Ring Stool is part of the design trust for public spaces auction event november 7th, 2012 which supports public spaces in new york city. What a smart way to say happy 80th birthday.
