Sandals by Freewaters Footwear for Spring 2015

Freewaters Footwear is a social business founded by surfers and outdoor gear designers. They design sturdy, comfortable sandals for men and women, and 1% of their top-line (gross) sales go toward clean drinking water projects in Kenya, in Haiti, and in the company’s home state of California. To date, their initiative has funded 20 wells in Kenya, 7 water filter systems in Haiti, and a water education program at Channel Islands High School in California. The wells made in Kenya provide drinking water to 400 or more people everyday, and their reach is expected to grow this season and in the future.
For spring of 2015, Freewaters Footwear is launching a multitude of new styles for men and women, including sandals and a close-toed slip-on. Their latest flip-flops come in different prints, textures, and levels of arch support, and are made with non-toxic materials such as water-based glue, PVC-free rubber, canvas, hydro-leather, and cork. The Captain, their lightweight boat shoe, is crafted from canvas and Therm-a-Rest™ so it is eco-friendly and vegan to boot. Find Freewaters Footwear online here and in select stores in the USA.
