São Chico Private Retreat by Studio Paralelo

With its lookouts and perfectly framed views of the surrounding forest, São Chico Private Retreat successfully envelopes its residents in a peaceful and reenergizing calm. Design by Studio Paralelo, the residence is formed by the intersection of two rectangular volumes, one clad in a metallic façade while the other a wooden one. The former of these two represents the private space, which includes a quiet bedroom in white, while the latter represents the shared space, which features greater transparency through glazing and an open floor plan. As a result of the intersection, a nook for a patio is created, upon which two lounge chairs offer a fantastic place for rejuvenation of the mind and a chance to reconnect with nature.
