SEA ME Rug Made of Algae and Fishing Net

Recently presented during Dutch Design Week 2014, SEA ME is a rug made of algae and reused fisher’s net. The Studio Nienke Hoogvliet design is a handcrafted, sustainable textile. The renewable fabric is knotted to the upcycled base, reducing pollution all around. As one might guess of such a handcrafted design, each piece is unique and sold price upon request.
