Seasons tosses dining-room standards with their new line of zany tables and chairs. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, the result of a unique construction process: mortise-and-tenon joints link hazel branches with an oak top, and a glue/sawdust paste fills and smoothes the connections. Then, the pieces are burned, treated with wax, sanded, polished, and oiled—resulting in a textured, quirky form with a richly colored surface. German designer Valentin Loellmann marks and numbers the final product.
