With the use of prefabricated insulated structural elements or SIP panels, Architects Alejandro Soffia and Gabriel Rudolphy constructed a private residence with unique dimensional characteristics in Santo Domingo, Chile. The striking clean lines and bold construction of the wooden panels almost looks like the wood decisively got together and built themselves up to produce such a distinct looking dwelling. Its main components were built to the north to take in the calm serenity of the nearby sea. An eastern facade provides privacy while another is exposed to neighboring views and to light.
