Danish studio MadeByWho presents a geometry-guided desk lamp for the minimalist worker. Comprised of rectangular maple blocks and a circular ceramic shade, the LED-lit piece is a lightweight, bare-bones—and beautiful—utility.
The minimalistic aesthetics of the lamp, based on the circle and the square refers to traditional Scandinavian design tradition and makes the lamp fits into almost all thinkable environments. The frame is made from Danish maple wood, which suits perfectly the thin ceramic lampshade painted in selected colors. The light source is a small LED GX53 lamp that is mounted into the lampshade. The idea behind the lamp is to unite good craftsmanship with the latest trends in LED technology.
