The world’s first Super SUV complements its Italian style with impressive power.

Lamborghini lovers and automotive fans have plenty of reasons to celebrate. The brand has announced the launch of the world’s first Super Sport Utility Vehicle. The new Lamborghini SUV brings together iconic Italian style, impressive power and driving dynamics as well as everyday usability. And it looks as stunning as you’d expect it to look. Named ‘Urus’, the car follows Lamborghini tradition by referencing a type of bull, the Auroch. Apart from its name, Urus also takes cues from the brand’s super sports cars, blending elegant lines with aerodynamic volumes. In true Lamborghini supercar fashion, it features two-thirds body to one-third window proportions. Other design details include diagonal hood lines, a hexagonal pattern on the air intakes, Y-shaped LED lights, as well as a single-line silhouette.

Created with the modern driver in mind, the car suits a wide range of needs. “The Lamborghini Urus is a visionary approach based on the infusion of Lamborghini DNA into the most versatile vehicle, the SUV. The Urus elevates the SUV to a level not previously possible, the Super SUV,” says Stefano Domenicali, Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Of course, Urus is much more than just eye candy. It comes with an impressive 4.0 liter V8 twin-turbo engine with 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The car needs only 3.6 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h and reaches a top speed 305 km/h – the fastest SUV on the market. This gem also features carbon ceramic brakes, four-wheel steering, and an adaptive air suspension as well as active roll stabilization for a perfect blend of comfort and reliability. The cabin oozes style and Italian craftsmanship. It boasts premium quality materials that include the finest leather, aluminum, Alcantara, carbon fiber, or wood. Set for a Spring 2018 launch, this new Lamborghini SUV will have a suggested retail price of $200,000. Photographs© Lamborghini.
