There are two types of frame materials available for both the feather and flower models. One is crafted from sustainably-sourced, premium-grade walnut wood that boasts rich brown tones and gorgeous grain textures. The other version is made from Mazzucchelli Italian acetate, a renewable material produced from wood pulp and cotton, offering durable, strong, and lightweight frames which are environmentally friendly and natural. The Canby frames feature cruelty free, naturally molted feathers in gray, brown, and darker tones and textures, while the Belmont and the Madison models come with dried and shredded desert flowers in shades of brown, tan, and red. For Shwood, quality is paramount, so all products are completed using Optics by Carl Zeiss Vision CR-39 or Carl Zeiss polarized lenses.
