The Brandless Store

Launched in July 2017, Brandless redefines online grocery shopping to provide a different way of buying and enjoying products. “Everyone deserves better”, says the San Francisco and Minneapolis-based start-up. A noble mission with a cleverly simple solution. By abandoning flashy branding, advertising campaigns and elaborate packaging, the company offers cheaper products without sacrificing quality. Indeed, Brandless provides non-GMO and preservative-free items that are also environmentally-friendly and free of artificial ingredients. Some of them are also organic or gluten-free.

One might even argue that the packaging actually looks better than that of many branded products. Simple and straight-forward, it also offers a glimpse into a utopian store. A place where the quality of a product matters more than its eye-catching cover or popular name. Almost all Brandless products cost $3, and you can browse through around two hundred at the moment, from coffee and tea to coconut oil and candy. And that’s not all. The company partnered with Feeding America® and will donate a meal for every order. Photographs© Brandless.
