The rhythmic architectural framework of the arcades like the famous ones of the Colosseum of Rome has been one of the inspirations “Claudio Chair.” It has an exemplary vibrancy through its elegant use of arches and colors. Indoors design, a division of Barcelona’s Arquitectura-G, constructed it from thin flat wood planes. Its rounded legs create an L-shaped cross-section which then transforms into arches. The chair’s back is also an arch and strengthens its geometric character when lined up with other chairs. The Claudio sends us back to the Renaissance prestige of classic architecture with a modern twist.
