The Micol Lamp by Cristiano Mino

Using the simple elements of a single concrete brick, a few wooden planks and a sheet of recycled plastic, Milan based designer Cristiano Mino created an astonishing beam of light called the “Micol Lamp.” This minimalist design was shown at Milan Design week 2012 and was awarded first prize in the Homeless Design 2012 Competition by the Campana Brothers and founder and director of the Vitra Design Museum, Alexander Von Vegesack.
