The Moment After the Show Project

The calm after the storm or the calm before the storm for rock and roll royalty. Photographer Mathias Willi and journalist Oliver Joliat’s The Moment After the Show gives unprecedented access to the dressing rooms and backstage life for these stars after they step off the stage. Featuring veterans as well as young turks, these photographs capture musicians between the performance and the autographs, the encore and the groupies, the public and the private.

He has lived from San Francisco to Japan but found his way, some would say inevitably, to New York City. His writing has appeared in a wide range of publications, but is thrilled to mark his blogging debut here at Gessato.
